Last year 48 students, from Years 8 and 9 participated in an overnight fundraising event called “Walk in her shoes”. This event focused on raising money for the CARE Australia organisation that would bring fresh and clean drinking water to countries around the world.

Our amazing students worked together and raised $2805 and most walked for the complete 20-hour period.

Their donation has helped Precious and her village in Zimbabwe. Below are some of the photos that capture the moment Precious first sees the water from her new pump.

I would like to again thank George and the parents who gave up their time to assist with supervision throughout the event.

Thank you to the Highway Hotel and the Nile grill for their generous donations, which were used as prizes in our student run raffle.

Many thanks
